How does it work?

The site works by creating a user account and generating Plonkey cards. The registration process is based on your email address for the username. Once you create an account, the email address used is sent an activation email. You must click on the link before the account can be used.

Once your account is created and activated, you can login and generate new Plonkey cards. The card must be printed out before it stores to your account. You can print it to a local PDF print driver if you want to print it out at a later date.

After you have a printout, you can cut the card out and save the memo that is attached. This lets you make a quick note to yourself as to why you left the card and where. Both the Plonkey card and memo note have the secret code printed on them.

When the card is left somewhere, you then login to Plonkey.com and click "Manage Cards". You can then click on the card you want to leave a comment for. There are two fields on the Plonkey card, one for a memo to you (doesn't show to the victim) and a field for the note you wish to leave to the person who types in the secret code. You can only enter this once, you are not able to edit the comment once its there.

Once the "victim" reads the card, in your Manage Cards section you will see a little green light that shows the card as read. The victim then has the option to reply to your message, they can only reply once and that is the end of the chain. You will receive an email with their response. You do not have an option to reply back to them.
